NOTICE 4/4/2017 - On April 10, 2017, New Jersey American Water will resume using chloramines in water treatment at its Swimming River Water Treatment Plant in Colts Neck and its Jumping Brook Water Treatment Plant in Neptune. As a bulk-purchaser from New Jersey American Water, the Borough will revert back to measuring total chlorine residual in the system once the transition is complete.

Water meter readings commence on or about April 1st. A penalty will be assessed for those properties for which meter readers were unable to gain access.
Contact the Borough Office to arrange for remote meter installation.
Hydrant Flushing: March 13-24, 2017 & September 18-29, 2017 from 9:00am until 3:30pm.

Bulk: Each residence is allowed to throw out 3 bulk items every Friday with bulk pick up stickers purchased at Lake Como Borough Hall at 1740 Main Street.
Please do not pour grease down any drains as this leads to a blockage in the main lines. This creates a problem for everyone on the street as well as the Department of Public Works. Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.
