Lake Como Map

The Lake Como Map is a Geographic Information System (GIS) map that provides various information about the Borough. It is the first result in a multi-year cooperative effort between Monmouth University’s GIS Department and your Environmental Commission.

Special thanks to Intern Patrice Case, for developing access of this information over the web, under the guidance of Professor Geoffrey Fouad. Paths, trees, benches, etc., have been located by MU Intern surveys. Infrastructure data has been supplied by Borough staff.

In addition to providing general information, we plan to use the map, initially, to track environmental improvements made by homeowners, and to manage our tree-planting program. We are looking forward to further fruitful efforts between our two cooperating organizations.
